Introduction

The Diversity Visa Program allows natives of eligible countries who qualify to legally emigrate to the United States. To participate in the Program, one must provide personal information to online systems managed by the United States State Department.

In order to provide guidance to our members/clients in the context of the Diversity Visa Program; and relevant information to our prospective members/clients, we receive and manage, or collect and use their personal information, respectively.

This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures used in connection with the handling or collection and use of your information. By using this Platform in any way, you agree to our handling, or collection and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Types of Data Concerned

Two types of personal data are utilized on this Platform in the context of the Diversity Visa Guidance Program:

- information provided by our members/clients (without which we cannot offer them relevant services); and

- information from prospective clients (collected and used primarily for the purpose of marketing our services).

Information provided by our members/clients

As an integral part of the provision of guidance to our members/clients in the context of the Diversity Visa Program, we receive and manage personal data you provide us as a member/client. We may also request more of such data, as appropriate.

Personal data include all data related to entering/applying for the Diversity Visa Program, but are not limited to:

● Your email address

● Your education history

● etc.

Such information is used primarily to provide you with Diversity Visa-related services, and ONLY during the Diversity Visa Entry Period /Application Process that you have requested. (See “Managing and Retaining Your Personal Data” below for more explanation).

Some of such data is also used to contact you

in line with services provided you, to process your payment, to evaluate and improve our marketing, services as well as your experience; and to provide you with information concerning other services similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about.

Information from prospective clients

These mainly include, but are not limited to:

● Your email address

. . . and are used to contact you primarily in the context of commercial campaigns concerning service(s) you’ve expressed interest in – for a definite period. We may also use your information in this case for other purposes such as data analysis and determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns.

Managing and Retaining Your Personal Data

In any case, we do not sell, trade, or use your data outside of the terms of this Privacy Policy or without your consent (for example to submit an entry on your behalf without your knowledge). The Diversity Visa Guidance Program is sincerely committed to protecting the personal data of its members/clients. Rest assured!

The Diversity Visa Program is administered annually. It is therefore ONLY during one Program period that your personal data is retained by us. Immediately following the Diversity Visa Program in question, all data for the period ended is disposed of in preparation for the ‘enrollment’ of new users for the upcoming period.

Possible Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated once in a while. As such, you are advised to review this space periodically for possible changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
